Last minute ways to support National Cupcake Day™ for SPCA and Humane Societies

Today is National Cupcake Day™ for SPCAs and Humane Societies! Don’t worry – it’s not too late to support animals in need. Here are some ways you can support your local centres!

Find a cupcake party in your area: If you don’t have time to host your own party, support someone else’s event! Ask friends and family if they’re hosting a Cupcake Day party. You can also contact your local participating society and ask them about parties happening in your area. Grab a few of your friends and go out to enjoy cupcakes for a cause!

  • Donate directly to your local SPCA or Humane Society: Cupcake Day is all about the animals. So even if you won’t be enjoying any cupcakes, you can visit your local participating SPCA or humane society and make a donation towards their Cupcake Day fundraising efforts. Your support means so much to animals in need!  You can also donate to the participating society of your choice online!
  • Give a symbolic gift: Another great way to support animals in need is by giving a symbolic gift, such as toys for shelter pets, care for a puppy or dog or the cat cuddler program. You can find all of this and more at pawsandgive.ca
